5 Reveiws for 10 Days in Asia Game

  1. Ms Teacher says:

I teach 6th grade gifted Geography. The kids played this game more than once and just thought it was kind of boring. It was difficult for them to figure out what to do, and though somewhat challenging doesn’t have much of an ‘educational value to it’ from a learning perspective.

Having played 10 Days in Europe, I thought this would be another fun game and a great way to learn all of the countries. Not only is it fun but also challenging! What is different in this game from others is the transportation. They have included traveling by rail which gives a little extra to work with.

Another great plus about this game was it sat in my wish list and one day as I was going through it it came up for $6.99! I purchased it right away, along with other items, and got free super saver shipping! I would highly recommend this game to anyway looking for a fun game to play with family and friends.

This is a good way to familiarize yourself/your children with the countries in other continents, while having a bit of fun competing

to win the game. We have also enjoyed 10 Days in USA and 10 Days

in Europe. Adults and children can play together which makes

    a nice family game.

  4. 10 Days in Asia was a nice surprise, a great mix of being educational yet fun and non-repetitive or formulaiac. No dice, so luck plays little part either. A pleasant bonus was the quality of the game in an era where most games come with flimsy card board cutout pieces, 10 Days come with wooden components and thick, cleanly printed materials. Both my five and ten year old like the game and both parents were pleased to see their learning of geography leap in only a few games.

  5. Eric DiPier says:

We have 10 Days in Asia, 10 Days in Europe and 10 Days in Africa. All three are lots of fun, and not just for kids! We were introduced to Africa by our adult friends, and we soon migrated to Asia and then Europe. When we have a “game night” this is usually the one we pull down from the shelf.

Although all of the 10 Days games are similar, what makes Asia unique is the use of “railroads” to connect the countries. The other games have airplanes, cars, and ocean travel, but Asia is the only one with railroads and that makes it all the more intriguing – you can really make some cool connections.

I can’t recommend a board game any higher – it’s an awful lot of fun for around twenty bucks!
