The 82nd Airborne, known as the “All American” Division, was a battle-hardened outfit with many veterans of the Sicily, Salerno and Anzio landings within its ranks.
After taking part in heavy fighting on D-Day and the days that followed, they returned to England to reorganise before taking part in Operation Market Garden, tasked with capturing the bridge at Nijmegen.
Through their valiant actions in the liberation of Europe the paratroopers and glidermen of the 82nd Division, the first Airborne Division in the US Army, established the traditions of the airborne warrior for generations to come.
The set comes with 21 full-colour tokens, including:
1x Ranged In,
4x Gone to Ground,
4x Dug In,
4x Pinned Down,
4x Bogged Down,and
4x Bailed Out markers.
It also comes with 16 full-colour themed dice.
Like with all our new Gaming Sets we have taken the opportunity to move the division symbol so it is now on the side of the six (rather than the one as with our older dice).
