Bailiwick, winner of multiple awards, including the 1995 Parents’ Choice Honors award, is easy to learn but is a very challenging and absorbing strategy game. Designed for two to four players, the game involves rolling dice and maneuvering your tokens in multiple directions along a maze of concentric rings. The objective is to land all of your tokens in your matching center ring. Players can remove each other’s tokens from the board from four directions. This is done by landing on the same space from either direction, or by landing on one of the points above or below in a “bow tie” pattern. Every roll of the dice requires a newly calculated maneuver as you strive to attack, evade, and advance at the same time.
