In all honesty, I haven’t yet played this game…but I enoy word games and this looks like a lot of fun. It doesn’t have the board and rule constraints of Scrabble and I absolutely LOVE the little banana bag that it comes in.

Bananagrams is a terrific game but there’s no score keeping involved so a pad is unnecessary. The game alone lists for $14.95. It’s available at a discount on Amazon so paying an additional $5 or more for a score pad you won’t use doesn’t make sense. If you want to put together a gift set, purchase Bananagrams with a decent dictionary if the recipient doesn’t have one already; it’s invaluable when determining whether or not words are acceptable.
