@Darklordbrink Well, so is Funny Friends, but the similarities between that and Power Grid are few and far between. Both are damn good games, though, so you’re probably right.
Tried this a couple of times on Yucata and was pretty lost the whole time, as was just about everybody else I’ve ever talked to about the game. As you play along it doesn’t really feel like you have any control over what’s happening in the game, and the instructions were just brutal. You seem to know what you’re talking about tho so maybe this is just one of those ones that really needs to be explained by someone who already knows how to play it…
Sounds like Age of Steam in the unforgiving category…. Then again, I like money games like that, almost as much as auction games. Sounds like a winner!

You know….this sounds like a good teaching tool for older teenagers/adults who are studying economics and the stock market.
