Carcassonne is another great family board game. In fact, Carcassonne is frequently considered a gateway game – a game that’s great to introduce people to more designer or “euro” board games. And we’ll have to admit that the unique play mechanics of Carcassonne was such a new experience for our family that it helped introduce us to many other excellent board games that we’ve added to our collection. Carcassonne is on our top 10 family game list.
