As with the original game, this expansion lacks organization inside the box. Which means that, unless you buy some small boxes yourself to divide everything, all pieces and cards are gonna be lying around mixed up inside the box, which can make setting up the game a bit tedious. The transportation problem where flying units would get broken was fixed by dividing the pedestal and units in different packages, but the main difference was that, instead of having to glue some of the units, I had to glue them all. Still, better that than having some of the pedestals’ shafts broken.
As for the gameplay, this expansion neatly improves the original game. A must have if you buy the original.

This is, without a doubt, the most innovative expansion I have ever purchased for a game. If you loved the core Starcraft game, this expansion is a MUST-HAVE! It adds heros and allows you to play with different strategies without having to be stuck with a single, special victory objective. It also adds 2-3 new units per team, new planets, and of course the awesome new leadership cards. They didn’t hold back on anything! If you only have played the computer game, you should definitely check out buying the complete board game. It functions so similarly to the computer game, you won’t ever realize that you are actually playing a board game…granted it may take inexperienced players 5 hours to complete a game, but it’s worth ever minute and penny! BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!
