they need a marvel vs. capcom chess set make chun-li capcom’s queen and have x-23 as the marvel queen (maybe some1else but im not a marvel fan so idc)
“This is rediculous!” … omg.. in Mike Berbiglia’s stand up, that’s one of his jokes. It’s his impression of a black comedian’s “white guy voice”. He says something like: “all black comedians have that one voice for white people”, then his impersonation: “This is rediculous!”… apparently black comedians are all making fun of Derek…. :/

derek your voice doesn’t match your face
Though there are a few issues, I think they’re all ok. I mean, what if Luigi wasn’t the queen? What’d he be then? It just works out this way with Peach & Daisy (& Don’t say use Waluigi, if Waluigi is there then Wario HAS to be there).
So derek, when the hell you gonna tell me where you got that shirt from? :/

I personally thought that Goombas should have been the pawns and Koopa Troopas should’ve been the Rooks. And yeah, Hammer Bros. instead of Birdo? Totally.

Derek doesn’t know how to play chess?
For me, Koopa shells should be Mario’s pawns, since Mario is the one who uses them most. Koopa’s should have been the rooks, Hammer Bros should be the Knight, like you said, and goombas should be Bowsers pawns.
Peach should have been Mario’s queen with Luigi and Yoshi being Knights, annnd the Bishops being Professor E. Gadd and Toadsworth.
Personally, I’d keep Ostro/Birdo and get rid of the blue wizrobe…err, magikoopa.

I still want to know how these guys play video games all day, do reviews all afternoon AND have the cash to keep buying more and more. $50 for a chess set? Where do I sign up for the money train???
And, I, too, was on my high school’s chess club. At least, to the year book, it qualified. Two guys…at a BBQ place…battling on a chess board…full, color page photo. Hardly a club.
It inspired so many freshmen and graduating jr. high that the next year’s photo outnumbered the football team!
If it is my chess set, I swap Luigi and Peach. I’ll stick with the just as geeky star wars chess set.
