My friends and I brought this game with us on an adult weekend trip. We all fell in love and played it literally non-stop all weekend until we ran out of cards. That is the only downside of the game is that they don’t make booster packs. We started making up our own mysteries even, because we were so sad that there weren’t any more! I wouldn’t recommend this game if you don’t like a good challenge or if you give up easily… some of the cards are really difficult, but that just makes it even better when you finally solve them. Awesome, great game… just wish they made more cards, because once it is over we passed it on to someone else to enjoy.

Bought my wife this game for Christmas(2008) because her older sister had one when they were growing up. It is out of stock, so I had a hard time finding one in good condition, but I found one on Amazon that was in pretty good shape. My wife was ecstatic. The game is fun, but a little subjective. I enjoyed it.

This is one your family will play no matter what their ages, although kids under 13 would probably have a little trouble getting it. The only downside is that there’s no more cards to buy once you’ve played them all!

This has to be one of the most fun games I have played in college so far. It consists of the clue giver/story teller reading a situation off the given card aloud, i.e “A man lies dead on the ground. Next to him is a marble. Who killed him, how and why?” By asking yes or no questions, the other people must figure out the answers to the questions provided. It can be frustrating at first because you are given so little information, but by thinking out of the box players realize that a jealous girlfriend glued a marble to a tightrope, and when the man, a tightroping bicyclist, went across it during the circus, he fell to his death. Some of the answers are way out in left field, but the game always has you going “Ohhhhh…” at the end. Extremely entertaining, but once you run out of cards essentially you cannot play the game again.
