Product Description
Family time is precious. This version of Do Tell® changes ordinary family time into quality family time. Specifically designed to enhance family communication and understanding, Do Tell opens family members up to each other in fun and surprising ways. It is not about trivia or proving you have a great memory. It is about having fun and getting to really know the people you love.
DO cards ask you to step into the spotlight and show your hidden and not-so-hidden talents, i.e., Be your mother or father first thing in the morning. TELL cards ask you to share your experiences, thoughts and feelings, i.e. Who do you talk to when you have a problem? Why? RISK cards add excitement with tasks like, Demonstrate a family member being stubborn, with a Bonus, Ask another player to demonstrate how you act stubbornly and both players move ahead one space. MIRROR spaces allow players to learn how others perceive them.
Roll the dice, move your token through the beautiful game board and pick a card. It is that easy! The fun begins as each player does or tells things about themselves. The player who gets to the Sun in the center of the board is the winner. 300 cards with over 400 options on them. Everyone wins by playing Do Tell.

This game had great reviews, so I bought it for my boyfriend and me to play on our 3-year anniversary. We have also played it with friends. It is fun to do, but the game is EXTREMELY short, so we find ourselves ignoring the rules and making up our own as we go along to prolong it. The best thing about the game is the questions, but other than that, there is not much to it. The length of the game is not really sufficient for a party and it would be nice if there was more competition besides “move your piece on the board.” Not bad, but not great either.

I played Do Tell with ex-wife and my son and daughter in law. They wouldn’t stop playing or put it away. All happy smiling faces. And the biggest humor was my son Brian who complained early and often about playing a game like this where he gets to connect, like “Oh boy, that sounds like fun.”, and “Dad, let me help you with this game company – any game like this is Not fun for guys”. He kept repeating that as he refused to stop playing. I tried to end the game three times and we even ended up rolling the dice and moving backwards for thirty minutes so no one would win. Brian really loves the space to talk. I give this experience a 5 out of 5.

I have played this game many times with friends and family and what I love about it most is when you are finished playing you feel more connected to all of those who played with you. The game makes it easy to open up and share with others without feeling intimidated. It is a great game for families wanting to get closer as well as with friends with whom you want a deeper relationship.
I also think this would be great to play with a singles group. Overall, I can’t say enough good stuff about this game and I can’t wait for the family version to come out so we can play with our kids.

This game is so much fun! You will create lots of memorable moments, somehow get to know each other on a better level, and have an understanding on others perceive you. This game is definitely a must. You will not be disappointed!

I was looking around for a new game to play at family events (Christmas, etc.). Oldies-but-goodies are great (Monopoly, Pictionary, etc.) – except while those keep you entertained on a fairly surface level, this game manages to make a game out of hanging out, telling stories, and talking about things that you actually really care about – so it’s a whole different experience, entirely, and one that’s both hilarious and moving.
Best of all, it helped the family actually connect – for that alone, I award this game all the stars Amazon will allow.
