  1. Laura Smit says:

We took out this game ready to play. We have been learning geography all year in school. I thought this would help enforcing what we learned. I opened it and found it to be very hard. I couldn’t even answer the basic questions. I thought I could play it at different levels, but it did not seem to be like that. It was too difficult for us.

  3. At first we found this game rather difficult; but once we learned the handicapping system we were having loads of fun. Players without a lot of knowledge in geography can compete with players who are experts…and still win. I like how you have to read lattitude and longitude to get oriented before answering the question. Loads of fun for the whole family; but play the fast version for younger children or they will lose interest.

The game arrived very quickly in perfect condition. We actually bought this one as a gift because we already owned the game and had some friends that we knew would love it. They enjoy playing games and the extended family includes a home-schooled teen all the way up through grandparents who are experienced world travelers, so this was a perfect gift for them. We have played they game in different fashions on several occasion (the game design allows a lot of flexibility in how you play it) and have been impressed that each time we play it learn new things. The ability to play competitively with people with very different levels of knowledge helps keep it enjoyable for everyone, and each time I walk away with a better knowledge of greography and trivia. As Mark Twain famously said, “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness”. This game helps foster the desire to travel and learn more
