A great family game, perfect for any size group. Everyone gets involved, even the dad on the couch in front of the TV chimes in every once in awhile. You will love it.

The kids got it for Christmas, and it looked like fun. However, the one we got doesn’t work at all. I’m not sure if we just got a bad one or if this problem is common, but I can’t even get it to turn on without changing the batteries, and then I can’t get it to go into the game mode. Plus, the rules of the electronic version are different, in that you lose all your points if you keep acting out words. I prefer the rules of the old version better. I’m planning to return this and get the old version.

I invited family and friends over for a game night, we started off with the usual board games, but then Gestures was introduced. Let me say this, the Gestures game had everyone laughing so hard there were many a bathroom run:). We laughed so hard while playing this game that we forgot the time, needless to say a 4 hour game night turned into a full time job….8 hours. The fact that the unit requires you to think fast due to the timer and make group decisions regarding quitting and taking your points or taking a chance on the next word kept us on our toes and totally invovled. We dropped the unit at least 5 times and it was durable enough to withstand the falls. We played couples v. singles, male v. female, family v. family, kids acting only, the team combinations are endless… I highly recommend this unit, just be sure the you have the right mix of personalities (young and old)and this can create a night to remember.
