Fabulantis is an incredibly fun game that requires a mix of both luck and skill. Designed for 3-6 players, this exciting race to meet mythological creatures is sure to entertain the family. See who can rendezvous with the legendary animals first. To begin, assemble the board pieces and arrange turntables so that their strawberry symbols meet up with the corresponding symbols near the mystical lake. Each player places a token on a different start point of the board. The youngest player will begin by rolling the green die. This action controls the number of rotations that may be applied to the turntable. It is not required to use the turntable, but players must stick with one rotating direction if they do choose to use this function. After the turntable is rotated, the other die is rolled and the player moves the number of spaces that appear. If the player lands on an activity space, an activity card is drawn and the player is faced with such instructions as missing turns, moving more spaces, swapping cards, or swapping places. Landing on a color space forces a player to move to the other space on the board with the matching color. The main objective is for players to reach the mystical lake and draw a card which will indicate the mythological creature that they are to meet with. Upon retrieving this card, players will keep the animal’s identity secret and rush back to the area on the board where the critter resides. The first player to reach their creature wins!
