My family used to play this game all the time. It’s a fast paced, everyone play at the same time game. You have a pile that is your goal to get rid of, and then there are the play piles in front which is what you get points on. It can only play 2, 3 or 4 people, with the most chaotic fun being 4 people.
I rated medium for educational and durable because there really isn’t much education other than recognizing patterns (for working piles it goes either by colors or by “boy, girl” which makes sense when you see the cards) and durable because it is a card game. They’re just normal cards so with the excitement and frenzy the cards can get bent up. Also, my family played it so much that the cards would get bent up from shuffling so much!
Overall though I do highly recommend this game.

If you haven’t tried this game, it’s time to start. Once you pick up speed, you will be playing all night. This game is even fun for those that don’t typically like card games.

Played this game overseas with a missionary family and came back to the states to find it. Our family and youth group loves it. Must have clear thinking, a plan of attack and some luck to win. Thanks for sending it so quickly to us!

Dutch Blitz is such an addicting game. I bought these cards to replace my previous set that had worn out. I will say that is my only concern about the cards. They’re not very durable. It’s time to upgrade to plastic!

After spending some time with my sister-in-law who had this game, I had to have it too!! I came home and ordered two sets so all six members of my family can play at the same time. (We marked the dupicate decks to tell them apart) My kids are ages 9 – 16 and we have played this game for hours on end. They choose it over TV any day… and we have had several game nights with friends and taught them the awesomeness of Dutch Blitz. It is such a fast paced thrilling game that anyone can learn.
