Product Description

France 1944 simulates the liberation of France, Belgium, Luxemburg, and the
Netherlands during the Allied drive towards Germany from July 1944 through March
of 1945. The game scenarios, being
post D-Day invasions, are in set positions. France 1944 does not use rigid
Sequence of Play. Rather, the sequence of events is governed by the purchase of
Initiative Chits and the random drawing of these chits during a turn. This
allows for a controlled yet random sequence of events to balance play when
objectives are concerned. France 1944 is low in complexity for play but requires
a high level of skill in planning and play execution.
