The Dumutef Guard is common which is nice, since you will likely want more than one set of this expansion. Dumutef is a 2 hex figure who gets +1 attack/defense on roads and enhances “Devourers” (I think just the Anurian Wolves at this point). He has 1 life, move 6, attack and defense of 4 for 25 points. Definitely worthwhile if there are roads on the board.
The road tiles are cool, but the “bridge” and trees really make the set. There are 5 trees in assorted sizes and they are made from the same plastic as the figures. They fit nicely into place and the biggest tree has 2 small stones to make it clear you can’t stand in its hexes. The trees are well-done and the rules for them are clear as well.
The bridge is really 3 pieces, 2 identical stone walls, and a 5 piece road tile. The brdge can be disassembled to make walls and the walls will attach to any other terrain. The rules are also clear here including the “line of sight” markers that allow ranged attackers to “lean” over the wall and hit things that might otherwise be too close.
