I bought this Game as a gift for my host-kids.
I’m a educator and worked in a kindergarten, and I loved it. we played this game a lot, most kids love it, special for boys.
Its so much fun to wait to get 5 fruits and then hit the button as first so fast u can.
its a great game for practice reaction, counting and concentration.

Before I knew the game, Halli Galli, I did not enjoy playing any kind of game such as computer game, board game, video game; so, it was hard to have fun time with my friends when they played any games. Since I have known Halli Galli, I bring the game whenever my friends hold party. I went so far as to go back home to bring the game with me, and what I do as soon as meet friends is introduce the Halli Galli even though we haven’t seen each other for a long time.First of all, one of the reasons why I don’t like other game is the rules are difficult, but the rules of Halli Galli are easy; players must ring a bell when they see five fruits. While playing Halli Galli, you can notice yourself having a zeal for striking the bell. It is hard to express the feeling when you strike the bell at first. It is so easy that people enjoy the game, Halli Galli, without difficulty.
In addition, Halli Galli is good for home parties in which familiar people or unfamiliar people meet. The rule is very simple but contrary to one’s expectation, they might be often wrong. Although the fruit pictures on the cards are big, many people are not good at counting the fruits. The mistakes add to the fun of the game and then the unpleasant atmosphere begins to be changed to a friendly atmosphere. Besides, the more many people play Halli Galli the more funny and enjoyable the game is; therefore every person can share the fun. Especially, it will be great to gather people without distinction of sex and age. Speed is important at the game, so it is another joy of the game to watch difference of speed between players. Finally, here is the best merit of Halli Galli. The game also helps that uncomfortable atmosphere be taken off by touching each other’s hands when strike the bell. I played this game with a couple of friends and had a blast, but i kept on loosing cards because i couldn’t ring the bell fast enough since my arms are short. haha… after a while, it hurts your hand, especially if you play with around 6 people and they all press the bell at the same time… i would recommend it if you are going to have people over!

Halli Galli is fun to play with mixed-age groups of various sizes. I’ve played the game at family and youth ministry gatherings, and I’ve used the cards as image-recognition and counting flash cards with my nephew. The fast adding required in the game is great for the brain, but watch your hands (especially with rings) – a pile-up on the bell can do some damage. Warning: do not play on a scratchable (e.g., wood) surface – the bottom of the bell has rough edges that scratch with all the pounding. Just put some paper underneath and all will be well.
