There are many ways to play this game. We went with the most simple directions for our third graders. They loved to play it, and they learned what the difference is in appearance between 1/6th and 1/9th. The realistic photographs made everyone hungry for pizza while playing it. Fun game, we recommend it.

This is a wonderful game for introducing the concept of fractions, then building on it. Colorful pieces, sturdy box, and of course, pizza is always appealing to the elementary school set! The only reason I did not give this item five stars is this: although the pizzas come neatly packaged and perforated, once you break them apart to use for play, it’s nearly impossible to fit them back in the box right. My box lid always bulges open. I think a rubbermaid container will solve the problem. Otherwise I highly recommend this game!
