3 Reveiws for Nick Jr. Blues Clues Blue’s Room Talking Game

  1. Our daughter has had this game for about 1 1/2 years and she loves it. She is now almost five. It is a simple game with familiar characters, that younger children can enjoy. When we are not playing the game, our daughter also plays with the Blue that comes with the game.

As another reviewer mentioned, the sound is a bit loud; I paritally covered the speaker with tape when she got it and it has been fine ever since. I highly recommend this game. I think it is more entertaining than Candy Land, Chutes and Ladders, Dora Uno or any of the other little kid games our daughter has. If you can find this game, buy it! We found ours at Smart Bargains for a good price, but I don’t think they carry it now. I was actually looking to buy the game for a friend’s child and found the listing on Amazon, but they don’t have them in stock. It looks like ebay may be the only place to buy it at this time.

  2. It wouldn’t be a bad game for matching and following instruction skills, except the talking Blue when she’s not saying something makes this awful, loud “music” just two chords repeated over and over and over and over and over and over so that within two minutes I was ready to scream. It’s louder than the talking so I tried tape over the speaker holes but to get the “music” soft enough to stand we couldn’t hear Blue talking. I can’t return it where I got it since you have to tear packaging to open it, so if my child insists on playing again, I will have to improvise a spinner for the color selection so we DO NOT turn Blue on. TERRIBLE design.

  3. Sandy M says:

I have a three year old and he loves all things ‘Blue’. He loves to play this game and see all of his favorite characters. The game board did rip down the middle but is still usable. I have three other children (ages 5,6,and 7) who all like the game. Blue talking is probably the best feature.
