i discovered this game at a mall about 10 years ago. the board & pieces are simple & elegant as well as the rules, but what is neat & surprising is the unpredictability of the play which is like the stock market.
2-4 players acquire hands of “stocks”/chips (5 colors of chips) & also place 0 to 5 value chips on each turn. game ends when one stock/color gets built up the end of its track (6 chips). then all chips are counted & scored, the winner being the one with the best combination of chips & chip value, just like the stock market.
simple rules but constantly surprising like stocks. game has high replay value.
