This is the favorite game when we take it to our family reunion. The kids and adults love it. Easy to learn and lots of fun. I recommend 100% for everyone who loves to play board games.

My whole family loves this game! The quality is excellent and the game play is fun and easy. We have both Dread Pirate and Dread Pirate: Buccanneer’s Revenge. Both games are excellent in their own right. The two things I would do to improve this game are to upgrade the ship pawns to metal [like Dread Pirate] and include the wooden Wind Die. The primary difference between this game and the original Dread Pirate are the mission cards and the wind die. My 6 year old like the game, but his attention span is too short to complete a full game. My 9 year old daughter loves it. My wife and I were both impressed with the quality of the game and we both have fun playing. Arrrr!
