Roll the dice and lay down any numerical combination of tiles that match your roll. Just keep on rolling until you can no longer match your roll on the remaining tiles. The lowest score wins the game. If you lay down all the tiles, then you’ve “shut the box.” This is sure to bring the old century charm to your home and can be played with any number of players.

You can’t find a 12-number game in retail stores. 12-number is the way to go…… have played both kinds. Thus, had to rely on an e-merchant. Researched this pretty thoroughly…. this one had the best cosmetic look and appearance of quality – which is what I was after. Wish the lid opened completely – or came completely off. Since the lid only opens (only) vertically, it frequently closes when you place it in your lap…… which is what we like to do. Therefore, you have to play this one on a table top. So mixed reviews from me….. aesthetically nice looking….decent quality…. but can’t play with it in your lap. Note: Sent the supplier an inquiry about the lid….. they said it opened all the way flat (so that was definitely wrong information)….. but they didn’t hesitate to send me a new one after I reported the one I received had an unsightly scratch on the lid….. so kudos to them on that. I say get it if you don’t mind playing on a table top. RW
