I bought this last year for Christmas and it is still a family favorite on game night. My girls now 10 and 12 love it. They really love playing “bad weather” cards on their Papa. We have learned about a lot of great places across our country. I would love to see more in this series like Snapshots Across Europe.

We played this with our kids 10,12,14. The game is easy to setup, easy to understand and fun to play. Takes about 1 hour to complete and is enjoyable for everyone. It’s somewhat educational, and needs a little bit of strategy. Simple enough, yet fun for all.

This game is not just effective at teaching kids U.S. geography, it’s also really fun! My kids love playing this game and they really learn where the states are and the location of many landmarks around the country. This game is expensive but worth every cent.

Hello, I am StoryMaker. We just played a round of Snapshots Across America, a fun game played on a map of the United States of America! Up to 6 players can play at once with car-shaped pieces. Learn about many different famous attractions in the USA. Although it is a board game, you use cards for various things as well. The attraction cards are the key cards in the game – successfully play 7 of them and you win. You can only play attraction cards if your car is on the state the attraction is in. That’s where transportation cards help. You can move one state at a time without transportation cards, but transportation cards really speed things up. You can also stop over players from making a move with Bad Weather and Transportation Cancel cards. Even if you forget the rules (or you haven’t even played the game before at all LOL), they are simple enough to get used to and remember. This game is good for families. Both young and old can learn cool facts from this game and of course have fun as well. Reccomended! Signed, StoryMaker. “Gotta trust the kid’s review!”

My 10 year old daughter and I started playing this game when she was about 6 or 7. She is homeschooled and I never gave her any “learn the U.S.” curriculum, but with this game, she learned ALL fifty states and where they are, among other things. The reason I knew this? We went to the library, she sat down at the computer, and filled in a totally blank map of the U.S. VERY quickly, with NO wrong answers! I was astounded.
You won’t be sorry you bought this game. Well, maybe sorry because your kids will ask you to play it again, and again, AND AGAIN!
