My third foriegn Wheel of Fortune board game is from the French Canadian version of Wheel of Fortune, La Roue Chanceuse. I’ve seen this game offered many times on eBay and tried to get the full layout of the wheel, but I couldn’t. I eventually decided to get it, and I got it in the mail just less than a month ago as I’m typing this.
Video Rating: 4 / 5

@nowhammies10 You thought that’s bad, wait until I get the Junior Edition of this thing.
GOEN DAYTIME! THROW IT BACK!
@gshowguy Lykkehjulet is from Denmark. “Lycko”hjulet is from Sweden.
I thought “Lykkehjulet” was from Denmark, not Sweden.
@germanname1990 Hmm, I MAY go check again, If I find it, I may buy it and show it to you. Well, I’ll find a way -w-.
By the way, I’m Talesofafox on DeviantArt. :3
@milesprowerTV Wow, really? Well, I’m glad it brought back memories. BTW, if you had the Junior Edition of this game, I would love to see it, primarily the layout of the wheel/spinner itself.
I’m a Quebecer (I’m from Montréal, I’m a French-Canadian) And I’d say that I saw one of those at a store back in the day…was pretty much dusty. xD
Yep. 50.6% for No to 49.4% for Yes.
You betcha.
you must be a big fan of wheel of fortune right?
Wasn’t the vote pretty close circa 1995? I remember my dad talking about it for some reason. Probably heard it on CKLW (we’re on the US side of the border, but close enough to Ontario to pick up some stations)
The sovereigntist movement in Quebec isn’t as strong as it used to be in the 90s. If Quebec did try and separate, there would be huge consequences. Take it from a Canadian like myself.
Most Quebeckers are content (not happy, though) to remain with Confederation.
It does sound like that, but it’s cause they’re talking super-fast.
Another note, it’s per-SOHN. Final “E” is never pronounced. See, that’s why I said pronunciation is semi-easy. It’s not straightforward like Spanish or German, lol…
Really? I’ve seen French Canadian Wheel clips here at YT where they don’t always stress the SEUZ part. I always hear ‘em stress the SHAHN part more than the SEUZ. Thanks for telling me about this though.
Nice try, but it’s “lah-ROO-shahn-SEUZ”.
French always stresses the last syllable, which is what makes pronounciation semi-easy.
Yeah. I’ve heard about a lot of riots in South Korea, especially in Seoul. I watch “Police Videos,” hosted by John Bunnell, and I seen a few riots that have taken place there. In regards to Quebec, it’s very likely that they won’t, but you’ll never know until it happens.
True, although they won’t. It’s kinda like what’s going on here in Korea. Quite sad.
these board game reviews are awesome dude!
Yep, in Quebec. Search “roue chanceuse here, and you’ll get some results, though not many. BTW, I have heard Quebec is trying to secede from Canada.
Wow looks rare!! Never thought about WOF being aired in Canada, which is in french-canadian! Very clever!
