Our mission.
Beautiful boards. Tactile components. Immersive technology. We offer a more connected experience around the table.
At Boardgamer Games, we believe the future of board gaming is not about replacing the board with a screen. It is about bringing the best of both worlds together.
We create games that combine beautiful boards, tactile components, and face-to-face play with technology that makes the experience more immersive, more intuitive, and more connected. Our goal is simple: to make game night feel like something new, while preserving everything people love about gathering around a table.
Technology That Brings the Table to Life
A great board game creates a world you can see, touch, and share. Technology gives us new ways to bring that world to life.
Our connected web apps can add music, sound effects, imagery, and enhanced storytelling. They can guide players through rules and phases, track important information, and help make complex decisions easier to understand. They can even connect to physical effects, such as lighting, to make the game world feel more alive.
But the most exciting possibility is connection.
Instead of one screen driving the experience, our games are designed to connect players through their own devices. Adventures, achievements, milestones, and important game information can be shared across the table, helping everyone stay involved in what is happening.
Whether players are collaborating or competing, technology can help them understand the game—and each other—better.
More immersion.
Less friction.
More connection.
The table stays central
Players gather around beautiful boards, tactile components, and meaningful face-to-face play.
Every player is connected
Synchronized devices make turns, adventures, achievements, and game information part of a shared experience.
The world comes alive
Sound, imagery, storytelling, and physical effects add atmosphere and excitement.
Complexity becomes approachable
Guidance, tracking, and intelligent assistance help players focus on decisions rather than administration.
Boardgamer games are designed from the ground up to connect players to the game and to each other.

The Journey So Far.
It was just time. Finally, time.
We began with a simple idea: make games you'd want to play yourself. Not an original story there. But, there was more to it than that.
Twenty plus years ago, I wanted to create a company called "Cyboard Games". The idea was to create hybrid computer / board games, with sound, interactive storytelling, and a connection between the physical and the digital. But the technology just wasn't there yet.
I'd grown up playing games on my Commodore 64, Apple II, Dell PC, and loved "programming" in Basic. I of course played D&D, and other pen and paper tabletops. But then my uncle introduced me to "Wreck of the BSM Pandora" by James F. Dunnigan. It was published in 1980 by SPI, came out of a magazine called Ares (edition 2), and it was awesome! A cool story told in cardboard chips and rules - my first ever adventure board game. Way better than Monopoly (sorry Hasbro).
That was it. I wanted to blend the two worlds of computer games and board games.
But again, even 20 years ago the technology just wasn't there yet - at least not at a price point that would be affordable both for me to create and for anyone to buy.
That's all changed in the last few years. Now games I designed over 2 decades ago are coming to life.
We plan to build complete table top experiences. Our games leverage app technology to enhance play with sound and simplify play, our boards integrate LED lighting to build atmosphere, and our physical games are visual 3 dimensional stunners sure to entice you to play.
I've spent most of my career in digital marketing as the founder of a graphic design agency, then a web development firm, and the last 20 years as the CEO of an SEO agency. It's been a great ride, and I'll continue to do it to pay the bills, but Boardgamer Games is my passion.
It's finally time to get this done. Looking forward to engaging and entertaining you!
